Here's a pro tip that'll save you money: acclimate your hardwood or vinyl plank flooring before installation. Seriously. Bring your materials home and let them sit in the room for 48-72 hours before we install. Why? Temperature and humidity changes cause wood and vinyl to expand or contract. Skip this step, and you might end up with gaps, buckling, or costly repairs down the road. It's such an easy fix that makes a huge difference. We always remind our Coquitlam clients about this—it's one of those small things that prevents big headaches. What's your biggest concern before starting a flooring project? Drop it in the comments!
